Reflection on Feedback (Unit 11)
My initial scripting was based on an aspiring singer called Kieran Alleyne, following his life and what he is doing to try and make it in the industry. I made a script outline following this however this idea fell through. Luckily I had a back up idea for an aspiring footballer called Luke Brown, therefore I was able to adapt the script to fit Luke's lifestyle rather than Kieran's, so I could follow Luke's life with his past, present and what he has in mind for the future.

Synopsis: A short documentary based on a young man named Luke Brown, who is currently playing football for Histon FC full-time and has ambitions. His ambitions are to become a professional football player and have a long career in the game as possible. It'll show his journey so far and what is to come in the future for him. I'll based it mainly at his home with interviews and some cut aways of his personal stuff to give a representation of him, i could use his trophies to show his achievements, this'll give the audience a good insight of him. Some taken at Histon FC ground as this is who he plays for, it helps give a good representation of his football career. It'll be an interview-based documentary, so you get the information directly from him.

- Future Goals
- Travelling
- His mum's opinion
Themes & Concept: The theme is sport and ambitions as it is about Luke's journey so far in football. Its about his ambitions and what his aspirations are for the future and how he's going to achieve these. This is the career that Luke wants to get into, so it's a case of how he's going to do it and the risks he's going to take to try and achieve this. Considering he is going to America to help his portfolio in football, it'll show his mums opinion and how she feels about him going, potentially being emotional. it mainly shows what he's willing to do just to fulfil his dream and he has a huge passion for football.
Target Audience: The target audience is football fans of similar age to Luke (18) who are in the same position. Both male and females who want to have a long career in football and have a dream similar to Luke, it'll help with inspiration and gibe them a feeling of what steps you could potentially take to achieve the dream. A similar documentary is Trying to Make It (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__HxO2j3c2A) which is about Emmanuel Oyeleke and whether he will make it professional or not, this is similar to Luke as it's a case of it needing to be continued for whether or not he made it or not. It will be put onto youtube for the public to watch for inspiration and potentially to film festivals as well.
